Party games are games that some people play as forms of entertainment at social gatherings. Party games usually involving more than one player. There are large number and styles of party games available and the one selected will depend on the atmosphere that is sought to be generated. The party game may merely be intended as an ice breaker, or the sole purpose for the party.
(1) Strip Poker
Strip poker is a party game and a variation of the traditional poker where players remove clothing when they lose a round. Any form of poker can be adapted to a strip form; however, it is usually played with simple variants with few betting rounds, like five card draw. Strip poker can be played by single-sex groups or by mixed groups in social situations and intended to generate an atmosphere of fun, and to lighten the social atmosphere by the removal of clothing. Sometimes the game is played to heighten the sexual atmosphere. Like other adult party games, activities besides removing clothing and playing cards might be involved. (" Truth or Dare?" type options are often included.)
Rules of Game

The rules of strip poker are flexible and intended to generate an atmosphere of sdult fun.

Generally, each game starts with players wearing the same number of articles of clothing, though that is not necessary. In place of money and betting, the players who lose a round would remove an article of clothing. There are different rules as to what happens when a player has removed all their clothes. Some groups allow the person to put their clothes back on and continue playing, while others allow the person to continue playing without clothes, until everybody has removed their clothing, and others for the game to stop at that point, with the players either putting clothes back on, or remaining unclothed or semi-clothed for the rest of the evening.
History

It has been suggested strip poker originated in New Orleans in the United States around the same time as original poker in the 19th century, played in brothels. However, strip poker more likely began as a prank among boys, and as late as the 1930s, the current co-ed version was called "mixed strip poker" in England to differentiate it from all-male, non-sexual variety. Strip poker and poker seem to have developed simultaneously, possibly as early as 1830 in saloons/brothels and poker houses. It is said that the girls working in the brothels to pass the time became interested in the game and were allowed to ante in using articles of clothing. They could stay in the game as long as they had articles of clothing left. Alcohol, sex, and poker games simultaneously led to the development of what we all know now as "Strip Poker".
